比赛的一天

比赛的一天 is an exciting event celebrating a culmination of years of hard work and marks a significant milestone in a student's medical career.

Matching is the final step in the residency application process. 学生 submit residency program applications, 节目面试, and rank the programs where they would like to work. At the same time, programs will rank the students that they would like to accept. A computer algorithm will then use this information to "match" students to their placements.

比赛的一天 is an event that celebrates fourth-year medical students learning where they will be placed for residency training. 学生 open a sealed envelope containing their residency placement information as it has been released by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Here, they are joined by their peers, family, and friends to celebrate this milestone. The event is also live-streamed for those who are interested in watching virtually.
